Help and Support Ask a question, report a problem, request a feature Help please, Im trying to download a couple of videos and its coming up with “Fetching Meta Info” in the box, then flashes between searching DHT and Downloading but isnt actually down loading. Both videos have heaps of seeders. Any ideas?? This is odd. Try right clicking on one of the torrents which is doing this and clicking “Properties”. A new window will open up.

Go to the “Peers” tab of that window and tell me if any of the IP addresses that show up in there are connected to you. They should be highlighted green if they are. If there are, what does it say in the “Status” column of the grid? You may see something like “Transferring Metadata”, which is what you want.

If that looks OK, go to the “Event Log” tab and post the last 10 or so lines that are in there so I can take a look. Hi there, Nope nothing at all in the peers tab? Just a black screen. That means Tixati has found no other peers to try and connect to for the torrent.

You mention that the videos were highly seeded. What makes you say that? What do those torrents say in their status column on the Transfers tab? You can’t always believe tracker numbers. You could also have a port being blocked or your ISP could be engaging in traffic shaping, though I doubt that would result in zeros showing. Look to your ports. Not all routers allow upnp. You many need to assign and forward a port, if you are on a home router.

It can take several minutes to establish connections, too. Let it sit for a half hour or so, and see if the stats improve. Hi there.. I have the same issue and I found out that it happens especialy if you are using more than one conection as is my case or when you put your pc to rest without turning it off. Actualy, Tixati just lose its conection management and the result is 0 peers and so on For me, I just have to turn tixati off and then on again, so it’ll restablish connection and the issue just vanish..

I had this problem once, on fresh installation of Tixati, with closed ports. Tixati couldn’t find any peers because DHT wasn’t working and magnet link had no tracker. Check if there is at least one responding tracker on trackers tab. Have you downloaded any other torrent with Tixati or is this the first one? Even with incoming port closed you should be able to get peers list if there are any peers.

I have been having the same issue with magnet links. I just restarted Tixati and now works fine. Thanks Victor Ash. Same here, wouldn’t start download until I closed and reopened the program.

Not just the red x but took it off by right clicking and hitting exit. Next time it ran like usual. Similar problem over here : When I minimize Tixati to the taskbar, it stops after approximately 30 to 60 minutes with zero DL and zero connections.

When I run Tixati in full screen, it usually runs for many hours until I stop it. For me it worked to press the “Stop all transfers” and then just “Start all transfers” down in the tray. There is something wrong with this behavior though, there must be a bug somewhere I would think. Victor’s answer helped me, as I put my PC to sleep instead of shutting it down, it must cause a problem with Tixati as I closed down the program and restarted it, and it worked!

Thanks again Victor from Brazil! This was answered months ago. But I just wanted to thank you for figuring out this problem. Indeed putting my PC to sleep had been the issue, and I just needed to reset it.

Sometimes it really does come down to “have you tried turning it off and back on again? Hi Guys, Restart the Tixati application helped. I just closed and opened the program again, its busy downloading now. Regards, Mr Super Seeder. Add Reply. This web site is powered by Super Simple Server.
